Clothing Swap for Earth Day: Promoting Sustainable Fashion
On Earth Day, the nonprofit Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation will host a clothing swap at the MTRP Visitor Center.
Each year, 66% of discarded textiles are sent to landfills in the United States, leading to environmental damage and negative health outcomes in communities. This event will help promote sustainable fashion and keep gently worn clothing out of our landfills.

You’re encouraged to bring your own tote bag for your swapping.
Clothing of all sizes, including children’s clothing, is welcome. Swappers can bring a maximum of 10 to 15 items. Clothing should be clean, in wearable condition, and free of stains, rips, or tears that are not part of the design.
No undergarments or socks for sanitary reasons. All leftover clothing will be donated.
