El Chingon To Host Five-Pound Burrito Eating Challenge!
What’s more fun than burritos and a little friendly competition?!
El Chingon, GBOD Hospitality Group’s “Bad Ass Mexican” restaurant and bar in the Gaslamp, is combining the two for its Fat Ass Burrito Challenge!
Battle of two cities!
Teams of two will battle against the clock to conquer El Chingon’s famous, five-pound “Fat Ass” burrito, made with three flour tortillas and stuffed with carne asada, refried beans, rice, pico de gallo and Chingon cheese blend, in 30 minutes or less.
The restaurant’s Fort Worth, Texas location will simultaneously host its own burrito-eating competition, and both challenges will be live streamed on El Chingon’s Facebook.

The Fat Ass Burrito Challenge kicks off at 6PM on Tuesday, June 6.
The first team in each city to finish the five-pound burrito will win a bottle of 1942 Don Julio tequila, $100 gift cards, swag and bragging rights.
