Encinitas Holiday Street Fair Returns With 450+ Vendors

The Encinitas Holiday Street Fair takes over Coast Highway 101 this Sunday, and if you’re trying to knock out holiday shopping while avoiding the mall, this is your move.

With over 450 vendors spread along the street, you’ll find everything from handmade goods to local crafts to unique gifts that won’t show up in someone else’s hands at the holiday party.

Three Stages of Live Music

Music happens all day across three different stages, so there’s always something playing no matter where you are. The Beer Garden Main Stage features Tower 7 at noon, Sandollar from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM, and The Sleepwalkers closing out from 3:30 PM to 5 PM, with DJ Dubstin spinning between sets.

Over at the Lumberyard Courtyard Stage, Cappo Kelley kicks things off at 11 AM, followed by Hummingbird Hotel from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, and Jonny Tarr & Monette Marino wrapping up from 3:30 PM to 5 PM.

Hansen’s Community Stage runs a tight schedule with Leading Note Studios at 11 AM, Caroline Lobbin at noon, Maya Wells at 1 PM, The Cherry Bombs at 2 PM, and Bach to Rock finishing at 3 PM.

With this much variety across the day, you can browse vendors while catching performances without having to choose between shopping and entertainment.

Family-Friendly Beer Garden

The beer garden deserves its own mention. It’s family-friendly, which means everyone can hang out while adults enjoy drinks from Booch Craft, Lixir of the Gods, Surfside, Bambucha, and Green Cheek Beer Co.

Having a designated spot to relax with a beverage while kids can still be part of the scene makes the whole day more manageable.

Why It Works

Encinitas knows how to do street fairs. The location along Coast Highway 101 gives you that beach town vibe, the vendor count means you’re actually finding interesting stuff, and the live music keeps energy high throughout the day.

It’s presented by Stretchd, and the whole setup feels less like a chaotic bazaar and more like a well-organized community celebration that happens to be perfect for holiday shopping.

See you there!

Get your holiday shopping done early at the Encinitas Holiday Street Fair while enjoying live music and that laid-back Encinitas atmosphere.
