Downtown Escondido Comes Alive for its Annual Spring Street Festival
The Escondido Street Festival has been a north San Diego County tradition for nearly 30 years, and this spring it’s back on Historic Grand Avenue for another full day of live music, food, shopping, and community.
It makes for an easy, enjoyable Sunday out – especially if you haven’t made it up to Downtown Escondido in a while.

A Full Day Worth Exploring
The festival takes over Grand Avenue between Escondido Blvd and Ivy Street and fills it with hundreds of vendors selling handcrafted gifts, imports, and one-of-a-kind finds.
Multiple live music stages are set up throughout the festival grounds, and a Beer and Wine Garden gives you a spot to slow down and take it all in.
There’s also Art in the Garden and a wide spread of local and international cuisine to graze through as you go.

A Good Reason to Head North
Downtown Escondido has a lot going for it – walkable streets, a genuine small-town feel, and a historic main strip that comes alive on a day like this.
The festival is free to attend and runs all day, so there’s plenty of time to browse, eat, and catch some live music without feeling rushed.
See you there!
