Tamale Lovers, The Escondido Tamale Festival Is Calling Your Name!

There’s a guy that comes around our office every week selling fresh, hot tamales…and I am a total sucker. I can’t say no to those little bundles of tasty goodness!

If great Latin foods make your mouth water, too – then you should head to the 3rd annual Escondido Tamale Festival this Saturday!

The festival takes a look back at the history of Spanish and Mexican settlers who have influenced and contributed to California’s multicultural community, as well as shows appreciation for the traditions which have positively affected the Escondido community.

It is also an official San Diego Beer Week Event!

Bring your whole family for a day of endless food and activities. There will be traditional, gourmet, vegetarian, and banana leaf wrapped Tamales, just to name a few. And of course, live music!

Adults can also enjoy themselves at the Craft Beer and Wine Garden, while the kids get their face painted, learn to build rockets with Makers Guild, and play in the Grape Day Playground.

General Admission is Free! But a VIP Tamale Package is also available.

See you there!
