Crack A Murder Mystery At This Awesome, Adults-Only Fleet Night Of Science
If you haven’t gotten the memo, geeks are actually badass. Think Bill Gates, Radiohead leader singer Thom Yorke, actor Paul Rudd, and so many more. These guys live some of the most epic lives, traveling all over the world, sporting different supercars every day of the week.
Well lucky for you, we have an event series that will help channel your inner geek (and maybe help you rule the world one day): The adults-only, after hours Fleet Night of Science at the Fleet Science Center.
The series is held a few times a year, and Friday, March 10th’s theme is: Detectives vs. Engineers.
Start your night by watching the brand new giant-screen film Dream Big which is about engineering our world.
Sip on some adult bevies and later construct a derby car, create a Rube Goldberg contraption or design a structure that will survive the epic earthquake simulator.
Next, explore the Fleet’s Sherlock Holmes and the Clocktower Mystery exhibition; then don your detective hat and solve the mysteries of fingerprinting, delve into DNA and outwit a puzzle room.
At the end of the evening, you choose which you enjoyed most—being a Detective or an Engineer!
