Holo Holo Music Festival is returning to San Diego’s Waterfront Park for a full day of live island and reggae music, good energy, and that unmistakable feeling when the music hits, the ocean breeze rolls in, and the whole crowd moves together.
Born from a deep love of island culture and the sounds of the Pacific, Holo Holo is one of those festivals that feels like more than just a lineup – it feels like a place.
Born From Love of Island Music and Culture
The name says it all. Holo holo means to travel, to sail, to move – and the festival embodies that spirit in everything it does.
Since its first edition in 2022 at Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University, the festival has expanded to new shores including Las Vegas, Sacramento, and San Diego, always setting up near the water and under open skies where the music can breathe.
Behind the festival is Good Vibez Presents, a West Coast production company with over 25 years of experience producing immersive concerts and festivals across Hawaii, California, Arizona, North Carolina, and Mexico.
They’re the driving force behind the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey – the largest reggae-rock festival in the country – and they bring that same commitment to community, culture, and artist discovery to every Holo Holo edition.

Waterfront Park in Downtown San Diego is one of the city’s most beloved outdoor event spaces – sweeping views of San Diego Bay, open green lawns, and a backdrop that perfectly complements the island vibes Holo Holo brings to every city it visits.
