Growing orchids outdoors sounds like a challenge, right? Well, here’s your chance to learn everything you need to know to do this like a pro!
In a special class at the Botanic Garden, Alex Nadzan, co-president of the Palomar Orchid Society and active member of the San Diego County Orchid Society, will share how he grows his many orchids in the Oceanside area and give you tips on what types of orchids do well in this area and how to make them thrive.
The orchids of interest include Cattleya, Cymbidium, Dendrobium, and several others.
Alex has over 30 years of experience in growing and hybridizing orchids. He will answer any of your orchid-related questions, so bring them to the session, learn, and enjoy!
