Irish 4 A Day is Back: San Diego’s Biggest St. Patrick’s Day Party Returns to the Gaslamp
The Gaslamp Quarter is turning green again, and if you were there last year, you already know what’s coming. Irish 4 A Day – San Diego’s largest and longest-running St. Patrick’s Day celebration – is back for three nights of bar-hopping. You can enjoy welcome shots, live music, and all the shenanigans the season calls for.
This year’s lineup is the biggest yet, and one of the best-value nights out you’ll find in the city.

What Your Ticket Gets You Across the Gaslamp
One pass opens the doors to more than 20 of the Gaslamp’s top bars, rooftops, lounges, and nightclubs. All of these are within walking distance of each other along Fifth Avenue. We’re talking free entry across the board. In addition, you’ll get more than ten hosted welcome shots at participating venues, no purchase necessary.

On top of that, you get access to over 40 drink and dining deals. There are also exclusive hotel rates at Moxy and Margaritaville for a play-and-stay weekend. Furthermore, you can get $12 flat-rate parking with a free overnight option at ACE Parking on Broadway. Each pass also comes with a keepsake party map and a route guide. This allows you to hop at your own pace.
All in, the perks add up to more than $400 in value.
The Venues Covering All Your Vibes
The participating venue list reads like a greatest-hits of Gaslamp nightlife. Whether you’re into live music, rooftop views, hookah lounges, hip-hop clubs, or a classic dive bar with pool tables, there’s something on the route for you.
American Junkie kicks things off as the opening party host, while Good Night John Boy brings the 80s disco energy. Parq Nightclub, Vin De Syrah, and Good Night John Boy host the finale parties.

Greystone Steak & Lounge (winner of Best Steakhouse), Union Kitchen & Tap (Gaslamp’s best gastropub), and Smokin J’s BBQ are solid stops if you want to line your stomach along the way.
For the full list of all 25 venues, plus which nights each one is valid and welcome shot cut-off times, check the event page.
St. Paddy’s Day Meets Taco Tuesday
The three-night run wraps up on St. Patrick’s Day itself – which falls on a Tuesday this year. This makes it a Taco Tuesday and St. Paddy’s Day mashup. It’s a combination that only San Diego could pull off, and the Gaslamp is leaning all the way into it.

Celebrating With a Group? They’ve Got You
Planning a birthday, bachelorette, or bachelor party around St. Paddy’s weekend? Irish 4 A Day makes group planning easy. For parties of eight or more, you get one free ticket for every eight purchased.

Dress code? Go green, go bold, go festive. Think green fits, pub-style looks, gold accents, and whatever makes you feel like you’ve fully committed to the occasion.
See you there!
Three nights, 25 venues, and a whole lot of green – Irish 4 A Day is the kind of St. Paddy’s celebration San Diego does better than anywhere else on the West Coast.
