British comedian Jimmy Carr is bringing his latest stand-up show to San Diego‘s historic Balboa Theatre. The “Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny” tour marks another stop for one of the world’s biggest-selling comedy acts, known for his rapid-fire delivery and notoriously dark sense of humor.

Carr’s comedy style centers on fast-paced, edgy one-liners that have built him a devoted following across the globe. His approach is straightforward about its divisive nature—some audiences are drawn to his dark brand of comedy, while others find it off-putting.

This tour represents a significant milestone for Carr, as it marks his first time performing in arenas across the UK and Ireland. His previous world tour, “Terribly Funny,” demonstrated his global appeal by selling over 1.2 million tickets and visiting more than forty countries.
