Experience The Cosmic Wonders Of The Dark Sky At Julian StarFest

Get ready for the much-awaited Julian StarFest happening on August 11-13, 2023, at the Menghini Winery in Julian! After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we’re thrilled to this annual event make its comeback!

This is a free public star party on August 12, with camping options, telescope exhibits, food vendors, astronomy games, and a raffle for astronomy equipment.

The grounds of the Menghini Winery is the perfect location – just above 4,000 feet in altitude and and relatively remote – to take in the cosmic wonders of our dark sky like you’ve likely never seen before!

This is also your chance to explore the world-famous Mount Laguna Observatory behind the scenes.

This family-friendly event supports community education efforts by the San Diego Astronomy Association. Special thanks to the Menghini Winery and everyone involved.
