Unique Multimedia Performance by the La Jolla Symphony
La Jolla Symphony & Chorus brings us “Luminosity,” a unique multimedia performance where glowing sea creatures dance to the music.
The Deep Sea Comes Alive
Conductor Sameer Patel takes us on a wild ride. Think massive projections of shimmering marine life from Resonance, a collaboration between visual sorceress Iyvone Khoo and marine biology genius Dr. Michael Latz.
And remember that jaw-dropping Infinity Cube at Birch Aquarium? Well, they’re back with something even more spectacular.
The visuals weave perfectly with Gabriella Smith’s Bioluminescence Chaconne.
Then violin virtuoso Nancy Zhou sweeps in with Vivian Fung’s gamelan-inspired Violin Concerto No. 1. And just when you think it can’t get any better, the full chorus joins in with breathtaking works by French masters Debussy, Fauré, and Ravel.
See you there!
