On August 18th and 19th, the 2017 ¡Latin Food Fest! will take place in San Diego on the incredible Embarcadero Park North.

With the expansive blue waters of the bay behind you, you’ll sip and taste your way through a multi-sensory experience showcasing chefs, restaurants, caterers, wineries, distillers, and purveyors of all sorts.

1. Latin Supper Club
On Friday night from 5-8 p.m., join world-renowned chefs for a spectacular six-course tasting odyssey through South America. There’ll be signature cocktails during reception, Argentine wine paired with the dinner courses and a dessert cocktail with the final course.

2. Summer Carnival
After you feast at the Latin Supper Club event, kick the Friday night off at the Broadway Pier Pavilion on the bay from 8-11 p.m. with a South American tapas and cocktails dance party.
You’ll enjoy a a four-hour performance by the world renowned samba band, Sol e Mar, while tasting and drinking your way through a collection of lounges. There will also be a local mixology contest and celebrity chef appearances.
General admission and early entry will get complimentary food for the first hour with two cocktails and cash bar thereafter.
Looking to get extra fancy? VIP entry gets you all cocktails and food for the duration of the event and an exclusive VIP Lounge, too.

3. Gran Tasting
On Saturday from 12-3 p.m., Ford Motor Co presents the Gran Tasting: an all-inclusive food, beverage, wine, beer and spirits tasting journey through the Caribbean, Central and South America, Mexico, Portugal and Spain.

4. Mercado
On Saturday night from 8-11 p.m., make your way through a high energy street-food-meets-night-market experience.

Here, you’ll find tastings of Hispanic food and drink in celebration of the street markets that make their way from Mexico City to Madrid. Mingle your way around restaurant cuisine, pop-ups, and street vendors.
Admission includes tastings from over 50 chefs, wineries, distillers and more.

As if things could not get any better with the food, the drink and the setting — the festival’s aim is to help bring awareness and raise funds for the fight against hunger for the Campanile Foundation “Camp Able of Coronado.”
