MÍRATE To Host LA’s First-Ever Festival De Vino Mexicano With Chefs From Baja

MÍRATE, the expansive, bar-forward, and casual modern Mexican restaurant in Los Feliz, will host the city’s first-ever Festival de Vino Mexicano Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 15.

Since its opening in November 2022, MÍRATE has been recognized for its boundary-breaking, ingredient-driven cuisine and its robust beverage program, both of which feature flavors, techniques and offerings inspired by and sourced from Mexico with an “Alta-California” twist.

To celebrate Mexican culture while diversifying the city’s perception of Mexican cuisine and spirits, MÍRATE is bringing together the finest chefs and vintners from Mexico and Baja California for a weekend of tasting events, seminars and food collaborations that will provide purveyors a platform to share their exceptional stories with Angelenos.

The event, which will primarily take place outdoors in the restaurant’s back lot, is in collaboration with partners including:

The Vintners

With over 20 wineries participating in the event, the Los Angeles Mexican Food and Wine Festival is an ideal place for wine-lovers and appreciators, as well as those eager to learn more about diverse wines produced in Mexico and Baja.

Standout vintners include, Bichi, organic and dry-farmed heirloom vineyard in Baja California; Dos Búhos, organic and family-operated winery recognized as one of the best wineries in Mexico by Wine Terroir; and Tierra Adentro, known as “el vino Mexicano de altura” because of its location 7,500 feet above sea level.

The festival’s curated wine selections and food pairings will create an unmatched experience paying homage to Mexico cuisine and traditions with MÍRATE’s unique and signature touch.

MÍRATE and its festival partners are pleased to donate a portion from each ticket sale to This is About Humanity, a non-profit on a mission to raise awareness and reunite families and children who were separated at the U.S. – Mexico border through networks of allies and advocates.
