Start Off Your Weekends With Nat At Night
Start your weekend off with Nat At Night, the ‘after hours’ series at the Natural History Museum!
You’ll be able to explore the San Diego Natural History Museum’s wonders after hours, enjoy access to all exhibitions, and unleash your creativity during Sketch Party sessions on select dates.
Plus, you’ll enjoy the best views of Balboa Park from the museum’s rooftop!

It’s open to all visitors, offering an array of refreshing drinks such as beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, including kid-friendly beverages.
Cocktails and small plates
Sip a signature cocktail as you leisurely explore the Museum—here’s a map to guide your adventure.
Pair your beverage with delectable small plates curated by Mission Hills’ Wolf in the Woods. From the minds behind Great Maple and Hash House a Go-Go, Wolf in the Woods is one of San Diego’s hardest-to-get reservations, but you can visit the rooftop at Nat at Night for a little taste!

Nat at Night dates include:
- September 15, 2023: Celebrate the Art of Science display in their Atrium and meet three of the researchers behind it!
- October 20, 2023
- November 17, 2023 (In December and January, Nat at Night will go into hibernation)
- February 16, 2024
- March 15, 2024
- April 19, 2024
