Here’s Why 70k People Come To The OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival

Chili and music. Hello, hello.

With 38 years tenure, the Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival is a no-brainer. At least, 70,000 visitors seem to think so!

It all begins at 10am, Saturday, June 24th, with a free, all-ages Street Fair packed with tasty eats, art, beachfront entertainment, shopping, and more.

At 11am, things migrate to even more deliciousness with the legendary Chili Cook-Off – which will feature tastings from entrants competing for titles of Hottest Chili, Judges’ Award, and Grand Prize: People’s Choice Award (pssst -there is an amateur division!).

It doesn’t even stop there. The festival is packed with other goodies like a kids’ fun zone, a community mural, beer gardens, an artists’ alley and so much more.
