Beach Sport, Craft Beer, and Food Trucks: The OTL Beer Fest is Back at Mariner’s Point
The 10th Annual Over the Line Beer Fest and Tournament is one of those only-in-San Diego days that’s hard to explain until you’ve been.
Hosted by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) at Mariner’s Point, it brings together two things this city does exceptionally well – competitive beach sport and world-class craft beer – and wraps them into a single, full-day event.

From the Field to the Taps
Over the Line is a bat-and-ball sport born right here in San Diego that blends elements of softball and baseball into something uniquely its own.
The tournament runs most of the day with teams competing for the championship in high-intensity play, while the Craft Beer Festival runs through the afternoon showcasing some of San Diego’s finest local breweries alongside a fleet of food trucks covering a wide range of flavors.
Whether you’re on the field, cheering from the sidelines, or working your way through the beer lineup, there’s no shortage of ways to spend the day.

A Kickoff to the Big One
This May event is the warm-up act for OMBAC’s 73rd Annual Over the Line World Championships coming in July – so if you’ve been curious about OTL, this is a great way to get a feel for it before the main event.
The energy at Mariner’s Point on tournament day is something you have to experience at least once.
See you there!
Ten years in and still one of the best ways to spend a Saturday in San Diego.
