Event Highlights
Opera Uncorked is a casual and engaging series where we explore upcoming operas, but this time, we’re taking a moment to honor San Diego Opera’s remarkable 60-year journey. The evening will feature:
- A wine and cheese reception to kick off the celebration
- A presentation by General Director David Bennett and special guests, offering insights and reflections on six decades of opera in San Diego
- Stunning live performances of selected arias by mezzo-soprano Guadalupe Paz (Frida in El último sueño de Frida y Diego) accompanied by San Diego Opera resident conductor Bruce Stasyna
It’s a night that promises to be as delightful as the wine and cheese served upon arrival.
