The Original San Diego Beer Festival Celebrates 25 Years
The original San Diego beer festival is celebrating its 25th year, and beyond its claim as the city’s first brew fest, it also differentiates itself by donating 100% of the proceeds back to charities.
San Diego Festival of Beer is hosted each year by San Diego Professionals Against Cancer and has donated more than $723,000 directly to cancer-fighting organizations since its inception in 1994.
Benefactors of the proceeds include Rady’s Children Hospital, Cancer Angels, The Seany Foundation, and many others.
Completely volunteer-based, San Diego Festival of Beer will draw an anticipated 1,500 attendees to the city’s Broadway Pier featuring at least 50 breweries pouring 120 varieties of craft beer.
Breweries from locally and beyond will be joining, including Gravity Heights, Green Flash, and Societe.
VIP ticket holders will gain access to an exclusive private aged beer selection unavailable anywhere else.
Craft beer, waterfront views, multiple iHeartRadio DJ booths, and local food vendors will highlight the event.
Drinking amazing beer for a good cause on the San Diego waterfront? Sounds like a perfect weekend to us!
See you there!
