Catch the Pacific Records Festival at Kate Sessions Park
Kate Sessions Park has one of the best natural backdrops in the city – sweeping Pacific views, open grass, that golden hour light. This July, Pacific Records is turning it into a full afternoon celebration of California coastal and island sound.

Free, All-Ages, and Right in the Neighborhood
The Pacific Records Festival lands on Sunday, free and open to everyone. It’s part of the Pacific Beach Town Council’s Concerts on the Green series, which means it’s woven right into the community’s summer rhythm.
Five Acts, One Afternoon
Five artists are on the bill, spanning coastal rock, Americana, and Hawaiian-inspired sounds:
- Sandollar – leads with coastal rock and indie songwriting that feels like a drive down the 101 with the windows down – breezy, feel-good, and built for warm weather.
- Twilight Highway – layers rich harmonies over modern Americana influences that make for a perfect open-road listen.
- Slack Key ‘Ohana – closes the loop with Hawaiian-inspired playing rooted in island tradition and family. It’s the kind of music that slows everything down in the best possible way.
- VB by the Sea – Additional live performances rounding out the afternoon
- The Tourmaliners – Additional live performances rounding out the afternoon

Timed to a Wave of New Music
All three headliners – Sandollar, Twilight Highway, and Slack Key ‘Ohana – have new releases dropping in July, so the festival doubles as a live preview of the summer music they’ve been building toward. You can pre-save their upcoming releases now to get early access to the soundtrack.
Stay a While
Food and beverage options will be available throughout the event – no need to rush off. Grab something to eat, find a good patch of grass, and let the afternoon stretch out the way summer afternoons in San Diego should.

See you there!
Whether you’re a regular on the local music circuit or just looking for a solid reason to be outside with a view, the Pacific Records Festival is one of those easy July wins.
