Paris-Based Modigliani Quartet Returns To UC San Diego

Praised as “one of today’s best quartets in the world” by Süddeutsche Zeitung, the Paris-based Quatuor Modigliani celebrates its 15th anniversary this season.

A regular guest at the world’s top venues and finest string quartet and chamber music series, Modiglian has built true artistic friendship and regularly performs with other musicians such as Nicholas Angelich, Daniel Müller-Schott, Yefim Bronfman, Sabine Meyer, Beatrice Rana and Renaud Capuçon.

During its return to ArtPower, Quatuor Modigliani’s evening program includes Mozart’s Quartet in C Major, Stravinsky’s Three Pieces for String Quartet, and Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet no. 3.
