Westfield UTC Introduces New Holiday Concept: Peppermint Beach Club

Westfield UTC’s newest holiday spectacular, Peppermint Beach Club, has arrived at San Diego’s premier outdoor lifestyle destination, November 17. Following a year of toy and gift creation, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their team of elves are in need of rest and relaxation before the big Christmas Eve drop and there’s no better place for a little R&R than the beach!

Relish the magic of North Pole with the Peppermint Beach Club

This exciting new concept offers families, friends, visitors, and locals a perfect place to celebrate the holidays and relish in the magic of the North Pole San Diego style. Peppermint Beach Club will dazzle and delight with an array of activities including fabulous parties, retailer pop-ups, fan-favorite snowfall, playful visits with Mrs. Claus and the elves, and a live DJ to help spread holiday cheer:

Santa’s Villa

Stop by Santa’s Villa located in Palm Plaza between November 17 and December 24 to snap a holiday photo with Santa – or bring along furry friends for  Santa Paws photos on December 4 and December 11 from 4PM-7PM. Reservations are highly recommended, visit here to secure your spot.

Queenstown Bistro

Set in the heart of Peppermint Beach Club is Queenstown Bistro, offering patrons a curated seasonal menu inspired by Westfield UTC’s resort-like holiday destination. Featured highlights include a themed specialty cocktail menu, the comeback of the popular Holiday Sandwich boasting a delicious combination of oven-roasted turkey, brie cheese, stuffing, gravy, cranberry and jalapeno relish served on sourdough bread, and a curated boozy and non-alcoholic Hot Cocoa offering.

Gift-Wrapping Station

After finishing your holiday shopping, leave the holiday wrapping to the professionals and personalize each of your gifts at the gift-wrapping station located near Aritzia. Benefitting Rady’s Children’s Hospital, the station will be available from December 15 through December 23.

Holiday Ice Skating

All-day ice skating sessions are available November 18-26 and again December 16-January 2 for families and friends looking to cap their day at Peppermint Beach Club with a fun run around the ice at UTC Ice Sports Center. New this year will be a skate tying station where trained staff will lace up and tie a guest’s ice skates complimentary.
