Yessss…this is so cool! Join REI and meet other like-minded people that love the outdoors for the REI Paddling Campout on Coronado Island! Talk about a unique San Diego experience!
This is designed for anyone to participate – take the whole family on this adventure and hang out and learn from REI’s expert instructors in a fun and relaxed setting.
Check-in
Check in Saturday afternoon to set up your campsite and be ready to kayak or standup paddle board on the bayside. REI and Crown Cove Aquatics Center will provide all of the paddling gear.
Everything Made Simple
You arrive in a pre-reserved campsites, a camp kitchen is already set up to cook your meals on, up key camping and paddling tutorials are offered, awesome activities & a light breakfast are also provided – you just bring the rest of your food & gear and come ready for a relaxing outdoor adventure you’ll never forget.
Each campout is different — you might find yourself paddle boarding, upping your outdoor chefery skills, or snoozing in a hammock. But s’mores. S’mores are always on the agenda. So, bring the family, some friends or just yourself and set up camp and stargaze with us!
