Lights, Camera, Autumn: Rooftop Cinema Club’s Epic Fall Lineup
Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero at the Manchester Grand Hyatt is rolling out the red carpet for a fall season that’s bound to be legendary.
With over 160 films lined up through November 9, we’re in for a treat that’ll keep us entertained well into the chilly nights.
September’s all about “Cuffing Season.” As the days get shorter and the nights get cooler, singles are looking to cozy up, and what better place than under the stars with a classic rom-com?
We’re talking about crowd-pleasers like “Wedding Crashers,” “Top Gun,” “A Walk to Remember,” “10 Things I Hate About You,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” and “P.S. I Love You.” It’s the perfect excuse to grab that special someone (or find them there) and enjoy San Diego’s skyline.
September Specials: More Than Just Movies
But there’s more than just movies on the menu. Check out these September specials:
September 5: Beyoncé’s birthday bash featuring “Carmen: A Hip Hopera” and a silent disco after-party. Dance the night away to Queen Bey’s hits!
September 13: Friday the 13th special screening of, you guessed it, “Friday the 13th.” Brave souls only!
September 20: Singles Movie and Mingle Night with “Good Will Hunting.” Find your Matt Damon or Minnie Driver from 5:30 PM to 7 PM before the movie starts.
September 26: “Gilmore Girls” marathon night. Grab your squad and your pumpkin spice lattes for this Stars Hollow triple feature.
October Brings the Creeps and Screams
As we flip the calendar to October, get ready for some spine-tingling action. We’re talking over 60 Halloween flicks to keep you on the edge of your seat. From “American Psycho” to “Hocus Pocus,” “The Mummy” to “Maxxxine,” we’ve got all your favorite scares covered.
The cherry on top? The Rocky Horror Drag Show on October 20. It’s a double feature of fabulous drag performances and the cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Trust us, it’s going to be unforgettable.
