Salsa, Bachata, and Rooftop Sunsets – Belmont Park is the Place to Be This Saturday
Belmont Park has always been one of those spots that just feels like San Diego. And this Saturday, Majesty in Motion Dance Company is taking that energy up a notch – literally – with a salsa and bachata dance event on the rooftop deck, right above the beach.
A Lesson to Kick Things off
Whether we’re seasoned dancers or stepping onto the floor for the very first time, this one’s designed for all levels. The afternoon opens with a salsa lesson at 3 PM, so nobody’s left standing on the sidelines trying to figure out footwork on their own.
No Partner? No Problem
One of the best things about this event is that we don’t need to show up with anyone in particular. No partner required means we can fly solo, come with a crew, or meet someone new on the dance floor. It’s that kind of welcoming vibe that makes events like this worth going to.
Dancing, DJ Mo Lyon, and That View
From 4 PM to 7 PM, DJ Mo Lyon takes over and keeps the energy going. And the backdrop? An incredible rooftop deck overlooking Mission Beach, with the kind of San Diego sunset that makes every Saturday feel like a gift.
