Refuel + Cultivate: Urban Sips & Garden Tips

Over the last year the San Diego Air & Space Museum had a vision of implementing an edible garden in the Pavilion of Flight. Under the direction of 3 local gardeners & their crew of volunteers, the museum’s vision came to fruition. With a thriving garden in place, they felt the need to celebrate and share what they had learned from the process!

The Museum will be hosting a special “Refuel + Cultivate: Urban Sips & Garden Tips” experience where guests will enjoy craft cocktails and connecting with the San Diego Makers supporting our gardening community.

The Event

The Museum is partnering with Epic Gardening and Feeding San Diego (“Ending Hunger Through Food Rescue”) for this one-of-a-kind event, creating a great opportunity to shop local while sipping on garden-inspired cocktails and sampling small bites, and while traveling through time exploring the Museum’s Space exhibit and galleries.

Four Garden-inspired cocktails will be served, including a Basil Refresher, Lavender Martini, Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita and a Garden Lemonade. Family-friendly versions of each cocktail also will be available.

About Feeding San Diego
