San Diego Music Awards 2017

Tuesday, March 21st, the 26th annual San Diego Music Awards (SDMA) will be going down at the House Of Blues, and we’ve got all the info you need, here!

The SDMA recognize the achievements of our diverse (and pretty amazing) San Diego music community. On this epic night in music, awards will be presented to artists in over 20 categories and recognize many different genres of music including Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Americana and World Music.

Past performers have included Jewel, Jason Mraz, Switchfoot, P.O.D., Sara Watkins (Nickelcreek).

Albums recognized at this year’s awards night must have been released between July 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016.

So head to the House Of Blues, take a seat and watch it all unfold! Doors open at 6pm, with a preshow TV taping of Tonight in San Diego.

Upgrade your night VIP style with the best seat in the house – just steps from the stage. VIP guests will also enjoy waitress service at their table and a goodie bag full of tickets, gift certificates and treats from local businesses.

Proceeds from the San Diego Music Awards help to purchase guitars for San Diego County schools through a partnership between the San Diego Music Foundation and El Cajon’s Taylor Guitars. Over the life of the program, 2,978 guitars have been placed into 85 schools from San Onofre to San Ysidro and over 55,000 K-12 students have been impacted by the program. Pretty awesome stuff!
