San Diego Sake Festival 2022 Serving Up Over 50 Premium Sake, Live Music, And More!
San Diego’s largest sake celebration, the 2022 San Diego Sake Festival, is serving up over 50 premium sake, live music, and more on October 8th!
Co-hosted by Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana, San Diego’s sake experts will guide you through the best sake from Japan and the US at one of San Diego’s popular waterfront destinations, Ruocco Park.
The festival is an opportunity to meet, learn from, and share a drink with San Diego’s sake experts.
San Diego’s own Ayaka Ito, co-founder of BESHOCK Ramen, holds the prestigious kikizakeshi certification – similar to a sommelier of sake.
Very few hold this title of sake master, and only a small group of women have ascended to the level of expertise needed to be a kikizakeshi. Ayaka’s years of study and tasting have led to her extreme knowledge, which she leverages to curate a roster of premium selections at her restaurants, and she’ll be pouring and educating at the festival!
