Sweet Treats and Buzzing Bees: Old Town’s Sweetest Celebration

Get ready to satisfy your sweet tooth and support local businesses, San Diego! Old Town is about to become the epicenter of all things delicious as Savage Bee-Ches and Hey Sugar! team up for a celebration that’s sure to be the talk of the town.

Savages Bee-Ches

A Honey of a Party

Savage Bee-Ches is turning one, and they’re not holding back on the festivities. This female, black, and veteran-owned honey haven is pulling out all the stops to mark their first year of sweetening up San Diego.

And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, Hey Sugar!, the Southern-inspired treat maestros, are cutting the ribbon on their new Old Town location right in Savage Bee-Ches’s storefront. Talk about a power duo!

Hey Sugar

Local Love and Pop-Up Fun

This isn’t just any old party—it’s a community affair. Kemi Pavlocak, the brains behind Savage Bee-Ches, is all about lifting up her fellow local businesses.

Expect to see pop-ups from neighboring boutiques and shops, turning the celebration into a mini local business festival. It’s like a treasure hunt of San Diego’s coolest small businesses, all in one spot.

Treats on Treats on Treats

Come hungry because both businesses are dishing out the goodies! Savage Bee-Ches is handing out free mini honey jars—perfect for a taste test of their local, small-batch honey.

Meanwhile, Hey Sugar! is bringing the sugar rush with free cake pops and a sweet 15% discount on all purchases. Pro tip: Sign up for Hey Sugar!’s rewards program for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate. Who doesn’t love free sweets?

Chan Buie, the powerhouse behind Hey Sugar!, is thrilled to bring her Southern-inspired delights to Old Town. We’re talking cake jars, fresh-baked cookies, lemon bars, cobblers—basically, a sugar lover’s dream come true.
