SEA180° Coastal Tavern To Offer A Romantic Seaside Escape And Specialty Meal On Valentine’s Day
The only thing more romantic than a seaside stroll is treating your sweetie to a romantic meal and drinks steps from the sand. This Valentine’s Day, SEA180° Coastal Tavern, located at 800 Seacoast Dr. inside the Pier South Resort, will set the mood for romance with a specialty prix fixe menu and cocktails.

SEA180° Coastal Tavern, located at 800 Seacoast Dr. inside the Pier South Resort, will set the mood for romance with a specialty prix fixe menu and cocktails, available on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
Crafted by executive chef Paulo Mendoza and priced at $69.95, the meal will begin with an amuse bouche, a smoked deviled egg with black tobiko caviar. For the first course, guests may choose between salmon tartare with salmon roe, lemon oil, whole grain mustard, chives and cucumber served with taro chips; octopus with fresh kimchi, kimchi aioli and blistered shishito peppers; or crab toast with crisp wild arugula, pickled onion, lemon aioli and toasted brioche.
Entrée selections include California halibut served with littleneck clam risotto, roasted fingerling potatoes, spring leeks, parsley oil, Meyer lemon and micro cilantro; short rib pappardelle, red wine braised short ribs accompanied by burrata, baby carrots, spinach and tomato ragout; Australian lamb rack with veal demi-glace served with mint and pea puree, buttered English peas and roasted carrots; and acorn squash stuffed with Humboldt Fog goat cheese, sous vide baby fennel, wild rice, baby kale, onions, cranberries and pepitas. For an additional $20, guests may also choose filet mignon and crab Oscar served with truffled pommes puree, béarnaise and asparagus.
A choice of decadent desserts will include passion fruit Napoleon served with passion fruit curd, French vanilla ice cream, crispy phyllo dough and powdered sugar; chocolate Pavlova with double chocolate gelato, marinated strawberries and toasted pistachios; or New York cheesecake with ricotta cheese, raspberry port wine sauce and almond praline.
The celebration will continue with a variety of handcrafted cocktails, including Cupid’s Kiss, a combination of Tito’s vodka, cranberry and lemon juices and house-made raspberry syrup; Chocolate Bliss, made with Grey Goose vodka, Crème de Cacao White, Baileys Irish cream and cocoa powder; Bloodlust, a combination of El Tessoro tequila, trip sec, blood orange puree, lime juice and simple syrup; Sweetheart Fiz, made with Beefeater gin, lemon juice, grenadine, egg white and soda water; and Aged 2 Perfection, a combination of Jefferson’s Straight Rye Whiskey, Hennessy, sweet vermouth, B&B Liqueur and aromatic bitters. A curated selection of sparkling, white and red wines will also be available.

For couples looking to dine in the daylight this Valentine’s Day, each of the items from the prix fixe menu will also be available to order a la carte during lunch service, from 11:30AM to 4PM.
