Cupid’s Skate Party Transforms Petco Park’s Gallagher Square Into a Valentine’s Roller Rink
Petco Park is turning Gallagher Square into an outdoor roller skating rink for Valentine’s weekend, and it’s the kind of setup that works whether you’re bringing your partner, your friends, or just looking for something different to do.
Cupid’s Skate Party runs for four days and includes festive décor, photo opportunities, live music, shopping, and plenty of food and drink options to keep the energy going.

Roller Skating With Live DJ and Shopping
The main draw is obviously the outdoor skating rink, but there’s a lot more happening around it. A live DJ keeps the energy high throughout the event, and the shopping options include chocolates, candles, floral bouquet stations, local artists, and permanent jewelry.
It’s set up so you can skate for a bit, grab some food or drinks, shop around, and then get back on the rink without feeling like you’ve exhausted everything in the first hour.
Flexible Ticketing Options
Entry tickets are $12 and get you access anytime between 2 PM and 10 PM, which gives you a lot of flexibility if you want to drop in and see what’s happening without committing to a full skating session.
If you know you want to skate, you can reserve a two-hour skating session for $27 per person, which includes rentals. The pricing makes it accessible whether you’re planning a full date night or just checking it out on a whim.
From the Team Behind Holiday Wonderland
If you enjoyed Holiday Wonderland at Petco Park, this event comes from the same team and has a similar vibe. They know how to transform Gallagher Square into a festive space, and this Valentine’s version trades in the winter theme for romantic décor and Valentine’s-specific activities.
See you there!
Roller skating at Petco Park isn’t something you get to do every day, and the four-day window gives you plenty of options to fit it into your Valentine’s weekend plans.
