Find Out Who Makes The Best Chili in Town at The SoNo Fest & Chili Cook-Off

Come taste some of the best chili in town this Sunday at the 8th annual SoNo Chili Fest and Cook-Off held at 32nd & Thorn streets in North Park!

40 restaurants will compete for bragging rights and a place in the Chili Hall of Fame. There will also be a beer garden, with more than 20 local brewers to quench your thirst; two stages with 12 local bands playing live music for you all day; a kids fest; a food truck court; and a holiday market with more than 30 local handmade vendors.

Thanks to an all-volunteer staff of parents, teachers, and local business such as the San Diego Ceramic Connection who provides a generous donation and supplies the keepsake bowls for the event, 100% of the fund raised go to an arts program at McKinley Elementary School, making it available to kids who love it as much as we do.

You’ll need to purchase a chili tasting pass, otherwise the event is totally free for everyone to enjoy, listen to music and mingle with the community!
