The Plot Welcomes Plantscape, Their Inaugural Tasting Dinner Series
Award-winning restaurant The Plot is welcoming its inaugural tasting dinner series, Plantscape. The first of the boundary-bending dinner series will be held on Tuesday, July 11th at 5PM, with open seatings from 5PM-8PM, the last seating being at 8PM.
Plantscape: A boundary bending dinner series
The new experience will feature a six-course dinner from culinary leaders Davin Waite, Lydia Ornelas, and Travis Roe that showcases locally-sourced and regeneratively grown ingredients, some of which come directly from The Plot’s backyard garden.
The culinary team employs innovative techniques, such as total utilization and zero-waste cooking, to create imaginative dishes that reveal the full potential of green cuisine, showcasing how exciting a plant-based tasting menu can really be.
Wine and cocktail pairing
Guests have the option to pair the dinner with an assortment of thoughtfully selected natural wines and cocktails, perfectly complementing the teams’ creations. As a welcome, guests will be greeted with a signature house cocktail highlighting byproducts from the menu preparations.
The Plot’s rapid expansion
The Plot’s rapid expansion, with two new locations (Carlsbad & Costa Mesa) set to open this year, is fueled by the team’s dedication to progress a plant-based future rooted in sustainability and zero-waste practices.
