What’s It Like To Live In Tiny Homes? Find Out At A San Diego Exhibit Happening This Weekend

You have probably seen or heard of the TV show featuring people living in tiny homes, and wonder how or why do they do it. Or maybe you’re even wondering if a tiny home is right for you?

Here’s your chance to learn more.

Visit the Alternative Housing Solutions event, a free, family-friendly event where you can take tiny home tours while enjoying food and music!

Current housing projections by San Diego Association of Governments show that San Diego County will need to house one million more residents by 2050, which equates to approximately 350,000 new housing units.

Facing an expensive housing market with such a critical shortage of affordable housing, Tiny Home Central and AIA San Diego have teamed up to demonstrate how tiny homes and modular housing can serve as alternative housing solutions to address this real problem.

The belief held by the organizers of the event is that tiny homes can be leveraged as a solution to the city’s housing affordability crisis, along with addressing the San Diego county’s homelessness problem.

In addition, tiny homes fit nicely into a rising movement towards a more simplified lifestyle that many find very attractive. In other words, tiny homes are still homes that people will be proud of.

Want to learn more?

Visit these tiny homes at the Alternative Housing Solutions exhibit for a really good cause!

See you there!
