In fact, if you do, you should probably hear about some exciting new things happening at the hip bar and eatery.

The tavern housed in a 1950s building was recently purchased by Michael Saltsman (you may know him from Urban Mo’s) and Scott Borden of Etc Adventures, LLC.

Long time hospitality veterans, we’re excited to see all the great new things on the horizon for Uptown (More shirtless men videos, perhaps? You should probably follow them on Instagram, just in case).

And, the tavern turns 5 this year and they’re throwing a blowout bash to celebrate it, Thursday, August 31st!

For starters, the party will feature DJ Taj spinning live, go-go dancers, drink specials and Uptown’s full dinner menu created by award-winning Chef Lety Gonzalez available all night.

The staff will be dressed in 1950s greaser-themed attire pay homage to the roots of the building, which once served the community decades ago as a car repair garage and gas station!

There will be no cover charge and all are welcome to join.
