Vokab Kompany, Mimi Zulu, Tah Rei

Vokab Kompany is a San Diego, California based American Hip-Hop and Live-Electronic band; founded by vocalist Robbie Gallo aka Rob Hurt, and later joined by vocalist Matt Burke aka Burkey Baby (Native Root) in 2007 fusing the hip hop and electronic genres. Vikingo Burkhiser (bass), Tyler Olson (drums), Geoff Nigl (keys), Jesse Molloy (Sax) and Richard Galiguis (Guitar) comprise the rest of the award winning funk, soul and glitch hop band, Vokab Kompany.

Tah Rei is a musical artist. Performing, Djing, Producing global funk jazz boogie edm sounds. A multi-instrumentalist who performs on bass clarinet, keys, flutes, saxophone, sintir bass, percussion, and electronics. Resident Dj at a weekly event called Makossa Mondays which is a night for soul jazz funk rare vinyl selections.
