Hillcrest’s Mural Alley is transforming into an open-air gallery for the monthly Walk In Art event. This isn’t your average stroll—we’re talking a full-on sensory experience with art, music, food, and a dash of the unexpected.
Tucked between 4th and 5th Streets, just south of University, this urban alley has gotten a major glow-up thanks to local muralists. It’s the perfect backdrop for a night of creative exploration.
Each month brings a fresh mix of artists and vendors, so you never know what treasures you might find.
October’s Lineup
This month, they’ve got some serious talent in the house:
DJ Valerian (5 PM to 7:30 PM): Fresh from Coachella, this vinyl virtuoso is bringing his galactic blend of disco and house.
Rhythm & Root (7:30 PM to 10 PM): Led by Brody Logan Hess, this jam collective serves up a funky fusion of genres with surprise guest performers.

El Pelinchin: Dive into the heart of Murcia, Spain, through handcrafted illustrations that blend tradition with a modern twist.
Mountain Valley Farm: Meet Charles, a nutrition guru spreading the gospel of holistic wellness one conversation at a time.
