Explore The 10 Most Important Trees In Balboa Park On This Free Walking Tour

“A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they know they shall never sit.”– Greek proverb.

Balboa Park has some magical trees – here is your chance to get to know them better!

The Trees tour is a two-part exploration, five trees in the Prado area one month, five more commencing at Marston house and exploring the Kate Sessions nursery site and more venues on the north side of the 163 in the alternate month.

Walking Tour: The 10 Most Important Trees In Balboa Park, Part 1

Meet at the west side of the Bea Evanson Fountain between the Natural History Museum and Fleet Science Center for both tours.

The Walking Tour event is free but a suggested donation of any amount to www.GoFundMe.com/BalboaParkHeritage will reserve your place and get you some special tour materials to bring home.

Enjoy the 2 PM Organ Pavilion concert following the Sunday tours.

See you there!
