The Whiskey House To Host September Whiskey Club With Green River And Bardstown Bourbon
Downtown’s The Whiskey House, which famously holds the Guinness World Record for Most Varieties of Whiskey/Whiskey Commercially Available, is hosting its September Whiskey Club Event with Green River Distilling of Owensboro, Ky. and Bardstown Bourbon Company of Bardstown, Ky.

The evening begins at 7PM, and it includes a welcome cocktail, a 1.5-oz pour of each of the four featured whiskeys, and discussions with representatives from both distilleries. Food is also included in the price of admission, and the menu will feature charcuterie, chicken wings, and pork sliders.
Tickets are $40 in advance, and can be purchased here. Walk-ins are also welcome, but the price jumps to $50.
The four whiskeys to be poured and discussed are Green River’s Straight Burbon and Wheated Bourbon along with Bardstown’s Straight Bourbon and Series Bourbon.
More than just a record-setting whiskey selection
For those new to The Whiskey House, the everyday drink menu includes not only the record-setting whiskey selection, but more than 200 varieties of gin and more than 60 of tequila.
Shaken craft cocktails include the Freddie Mercury (Old Overholt whiskey, Hazy IPA, Aperol, Orgeat, Lemon, Angostura Bitters), Bee’s Knees (Irish Rosé Gin, Vanilla Honey, Lemon), and Leaving Tijuana (blanco tequila, honey, lime, pinch of salt).
The Whiskey House this summer also introduced brunch service on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9AM–3PM.
The menu offers an array of selections, including pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, burgers, steak and eggs, and Mexican dishes chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and breakfast enchiladas. Vegan options are available as well, and there is indoor and patio seating.
