Celebrate The Impact Of Immigrant Entrepreneurs In San Diego On World Refugee Day
Suri Market and Restaurant is hosting a free small business mixer to celebrate World Refugee Day, as well as to celebrate immigrant entrepreneurs and their economic and cultural impact on the San Diego region.
Members of Business for Good San Diego and the International Rescue Committee in San Diego will also attend.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
What is World Refugee Day?
World Refugee Day is a day observed by the United Nations to commemorate the strength, courage and perserverance of millions of refugees – a person who has been displaced from their home country due to violence, persecution, or natural disaster – around the world.
We love this event because we think it’s a great reminder that the far, far majority of refugees are just normal people caught in horrible circumstances, not people trying to play a role in any of our political games.
