Evgeniya Golik’s Mystical Art Exhibition Opens at Sparks Gallery

Step into a world where fantasy intertwines with reality at Sparks Gallery, as they unveil the enchanting works of Russian-born artist Evgeniya Golik. Known for her pop-surrealist flair, Golik’s exhibition promises to whisk you away to a mystical realm filled with symbolic storytelling and fantastical creatures.

Golik’s art is not just a feast for the eyes but a gateway to the esoteric. Inspired by her grandmother’s teachings on astrology, natural remedies, and fortune-telling, Golik weaves these ancient secrets into her meticulously detailed paintings and drawings.

Her unique style features intricate hatch shading and lifelike renditions of hair, paired with an array of beautiful human faces and unusual beings, each telling their own hidden stories.

The artist shares that her motivation comes from a world in turmoil—a world craving the solace found in esoteric knowledge. In her words, “When the physical world becomes scary and doesn’t give us any reassurance, the spiritual world can provide hope to survive.”

The Evgeniya Golik art exhibition explores these themes, bringing nearly forgotten wisdom back into the spotlight through art.

See you there!

Don’t miss this profound experience! Golik’s works will be on display from May 4 to June 30, 2024, with a special reception kicking off the event on Saturday, May 4, from 5 PM to 8 PM.

While the event is free, an RSVP is recommended to ensure your spot in this journey through art and mysticism. More info on Evgeniya Golik and her works can be found here. To RSVP, click here.
