Five Years of Fit Mission Beach: An Oceanfront Community Gem!

Can you believe it’s been five years since Fit Athletic Club Mission Beach burst onto the scene? This iconic beachside gym has become our go-to spot for getting buff with a view. Nestled right next to the sand and Belmont Park, it’s the perfect blend of fitness and fun.

Fit Athletic anniversary

We remember when Fit was just a newcomer, hoping to make a splash. Boy, did they ever! Before they even opened their doors in 2019, they had 800 eager beavers signed up. Fast forward to today, and they’re rocking over 3,300 members.

On any given day, you’ll find 800 to 1,000 of us working up a sweat in their 50,000 square foot, three-story fitness playground.

More Than Just a Gym

Fit Athletic Mission Beach has totally transformed the local fitness scene. It’s not just about the gains—it’s become our community hub. With their FitPerx program, they’ve teamed up with tons of awesome local businesses.

We’re talking Beach House, Cannonball, LSKD—the list goes on. And let’s not forget their epic events like the annual Neon Vibes beach party. It’s all about bringing us together, San Diego style.

A Boost for Our Beach Community

We love how Fit has become part of the Mission Beach family. They’ve given jobs to over 130 locals since opening, and in the summer, they welcome an average of 30 tourists a day with their day passes. Talk about spreading the San Diego love!

So here’s to five years of fitness, fun, and fantastic ocean views. Fit Athletic Mission Beach, you’ve sculpted more than just our bodies—you’ve helped shape our community.

Here’s to many more years of beachside burpees and post-workout sunsets!
