Herb & Wood Announces Beau MacMillian As Next Guest In Celebrity Chef Series

Herb & Wood is excited to announce that the next guest chef in their ongoing Celebrity Chef Series will be renowned chef Beau MacMillian (past guest chefs include Sam Talbot and Susan Feniger). The native New Englander, who is the executive chef for Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort, is known best for defeating Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America and serving as a coach on season one of Worst Cooks in America.

MacMillian, already a fan of Herb & Wood (he recently chose the restaurant’s Oxtail Gnocchi as his selected dish for Cooking Channel’s Best Thing I Ever Ate), has also worked alongside chef Brian Malarkey as a judge for Guys Grocery Games.

The next installment of the series will focus on game meats, featuring dishes like a Beef Cheek & Marrow Bao Bun with Kimchi Pickles and Smoked Oyster Remoulade and Korean BBQ braised “Volcano” Shank with Green Onion Grits, Shiitake Mushroom, and Fermented Garlic and Chive Butter.

A portion of the proceeds from the five course dinner will benefit MacMillian’s charity of choice, C-CAP (the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program,) which through education and training, prepares under-served youth for careers in the professional world of culinary and hospitality. The evening will also include an auction element.

See you there!
