Hilton Bayfront Levels Up Your Comic-Con Experience

The Hilton Bayfront is going all-in for Comic-Con this year with fandom-themed menus, hosted panels, and special experiences throughout the property that will seriously enhance your Comic-Con experience.

Located just steps from the convention center, the hotel has transformed into the perfect meet-up spot for comic fans who need to recharge between convention madness.

Themed Food and Drinks Throughout the Property

Hudson & Nash and the Odysea Bar are serving comic-inspired dishes named after beloved superheroes, while The Pool Club is hosting “Frya-POW-Looza” with golden fried favorites like buffalo chicken wings, popcorn shrimp, fish & chips, and crispy chicken sandwiches.

It’s exactly the kind of comfort food you need after hours of walking convention halls.

The on-site Starbucks is getting into the spirit with a Scooby-Doo themed menu featuring “Shaggy’s Suggestions.” The lineup includes G-G-Ghost! (a horchata frappuccino with dark caramel sauce), Scooby Snack (iced chai latte with cold brew whipped cream), and Jeepers! (summer berry lemonade refresher with mango dragonfruit inclusions).

Perfect fuel for anyone heading to Hall H.

Panels and Programming

Comic-Con badge holders get an extension of the convention experience with panels taking place in the Indigo Ballroom. The hotel essentially becomes part of the Comic-Con ecosystem, complete with activations and plenty of opportunities to check out fellow attendees’ cosplays without the convention center crowds.

For quick fuel-ups, concession stands near the Indigo Ballroom offer breakfast items like breakfast burritos, muffins, and energy drinks Thursday through Saturday, plus lunch options including hamburgers, hotdogs, and sidewinder fries.

There are also grab-and-go concessions available on Bayfront Park outside Promenade Plaza.

The Perfect Escape

The Overlook at Odysea gives you breathtaking views over San Diego Bay and serves as an ideal spot to meet with friends while taking in the Comic-Con chaos from above.

This all-new outdoor bar experience offers hotel guests and locals alike a chance to decompress with bayfront views that remind you why San Diego is the perfect Comic-Con host city.

The Craving

Why This Works

The approach recognizes that Comic-Con is as much about the social experience as it is about the panels and exclusives. By creating themed experiences throughout the property, they’re giving us a reason to linger, meet up with friends, and extend the convention experience beyond the official programming.

The location advantage can’t be overstated—being a stone’s throw from the convention center means you can easily pop back to the hotel for a proper meal, themed cocktail, or just to rest your feet before diving back into the action.

For friends who reunite at Comic-Con year after year, having a consistent home base with special programming makes the whole experience more memorable.

See you there!

Ready to level up your Comic-Con experience with themed food, bayfront views, and the perfect convention meet-up spot? This programming has everything covered.
