Hommage Bakehouse Pop-Up Opens June 19th At One Paseo

San Diego-based bakery, Hommage Bakehouse, will be taking over the One Paseo farm truck for a pop-up starting June 19 through July 15.

Known for staying true to the unique taste, flavors, and experiences that its founding members grew up with, Hommage creates an array of baked goods including classics like the baguettes, levain (country loaf), Kouign Amann, scones, and croissants, including seasonal flavors.

The One Paseo pop-up will feature their tried and true pastries and breads along with bagels (plain, everything, jalapeño and gruyere), focaccia, and speciality pastries including their signature Cookie Muffin, Spinach Artichoke Veggie Pocket, Mushroom and Ricotta Danish, and Sun-dried Tomato and Asparagus Scone.

Also on the One Paseo farm truck menu, Hommage will offer handcrafted sandwiches featuring Pesto, Salami, and Mozzarella on Focaccia, Hummus, Cucumber and Roasted Bell Pepper on Focaccia, and House PB & J on Sourdough.

Hommage’s Partner and Head Baker, Justin Gaspar (contestant on Season One of Hulu’s “Bakers Dozen”) stayed true to the historical spirit of bread making, while also tying in exceptional ingredients, training, and influence from his own Hapa/Filipino cultural experience.
