InterContinental San Diego Gears Up For 4th Of July

With San Diego’s beloved firework display, the Big Bay Boom, officially reinstated for 4th of July this year, it’s time to start scoping out the best viewing spots in America’s Finest City. With that in mind, the InterContinental San Diego, located downtown on San Diego’s waterfront, is offering visitors and locals alike the chance to take in the show in a crowd-free and stress-free environment.

The hotel is taking advantage of its prime location and sweeping views of the bay by offering four different viewing options. Whether you opt to take in the show and the views from the hotel’s waterfront suites, either of the hotel’s signature restaurants, or the Bayview Terrace, you’re in for a dazzling evening.

But book it early…spots will go fast!

Waterfront Suites ‘Celebrate Independence’ Package

Treat yourself to an unforgettable Independence Day celebration with the InterContinental San Diego’s ‘Celebrate Independence’ package. The stay and play package features the hotel’s premiere waterfront suites, which offer an amazing, unobstructed  view of the San Diego Bay, Point Loma and Coronado Island.

The suites will be priced at $1,776 for the night, with a 3-night minimum stay ($1,000 for the other two nights,) offering guests the opportunity to view Big Bay Boom, as well as Coronado and Seaworld firework shows.

The all inclusive package includes a 3-night stay with all hotel and amenity fees, three nights of parking for one vehicle, and a $400 food and beverage credit to be used at the property’s restaurants, Vistal, Garibaldi, Layover, or for in-room dining. Vistal

Take in all the sites of San Diego’s iconic Big Bay Boom fireworks celebration from Vistal, one of the InterContinental San Diego’s signature restaurants. Vistal is offering a front row seat to the festivities from their terrace, which overlooks the bay and will have unparalleled views of the show.

For $125 per person, guests can enjoy a welcome bottle of Veuve Clicquot and California Cheese and Charcuterie plate for the table, a Vistal Spring Salad, choice of a signature entrée, and Seasonal Cheesecake, all while enjoying the fireworks. Guests can book a reservation for up to 6 people via OpenTable here, and with only 8 tables being offered, reservations are sure to go quickly.

Garibaldi

Garibaldi, InterContinental San Diego’s rooftop Sardinian-inspired restaurant, which also boasts stunning views of the bay and fireworks show, will be offering a pre-fixed menu for 4th of July.

The three course menu costs $125 per person, and features Sardinian and Sicilian Cheeses, Charcuterie, Olives and Cruidite to start, your choice of Grilled Lamb Tomahawk with Pea Culurgiones, Grilled Lobster with Garibaldi Fregola, Rosemary Brushed Pork Porterhouse with Roasted Cremini, Lorighettas with Baja Prawns, or Seared Scallops with Orange and Mascarpone Risotto as a main, and a duo of Cassata Siciliana (gelato and cheesecake) for dessert.
