One of the most tried and true (and mouth-watering) Mexican restaurants in San Diego, Porkyland, is expanding to Del Mar Heights.

And the new doors open on Saturday, April 1st.

Yipppiiiie!!

For those of you who aren’t familiar – or couldn’t tell by our excitement – Porkyland is awesome. This award-winning restaurant is known for its savory carnitas, deluxe burritos and event catering.

The new Del Mar Heights location will be the second Porkyland restaurant in San Diego, in addition to the one in Carmel Valley. This second spot will help meet the growing demand for high quality Mexican food and catering in North County.

And we are proudly part of that demand!

Porkyland was founded in 1982 as a tortilla-making shop, and now when you walk through their doors you can happily find nachos, burritos, enchiladas, protein salads, burrito bowls and more.

With vegetarian and gluten-free options, this restaurant has something for everyone.

And we must inform you of one special item coming with Porkyland to Del Mar Heights: The Cactus Tortilla! Cactus, which offers many health benefits and unique flavor, is a pretty great, healthy alternative.

So stop by Porkyland to take your tacos to the next level, or hire them for your next event to blow your guests away with some serious burrito beauty!

The new Porkyland is located at 12880 Carmel County Road, Suite D100, San Diego, CA 92130.
