La Taverna Italian Eatery Opens In Hillcrest

Hillcrest’s newest Italian food and wine experience, La Taverna, is now open for outdoor dining and takeout! The eatery is inspired by native Italians, from Rome and Sicily, who share both a passion for telling their artisanal Italian food story, and a joy for watching you raise your glass – “Salute!” – with the perfect pairing of wine or beer.

La Taverna will offer a truly authentic menu journey, from Antipasti to Dolci, and along the way will immerse you in an engaging ambiance that just might send you home speaking Italian.

Guests can expect selections of house-made pastas, dishes made from scratch, wood-fired brick oven pizzas, desserts, and more, all made with organic ingredients. There will also be vegan and gluten-free options on the menu.

La Taverna is open daily from 11AM – 9PM, and is located at 3650 Fifth Ave. San Diego, CA 92103.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
