In light of the recent stay-at-home order, we wanted to highlight Liberty Station as a safe destination for you, your family and friends in order to support local businesses and get in the holiday spirit, all at a safe distance.

Parks

Liberty Station is home to almost 50 acres of outdoor park space, providing guests ample area to get outside and soak up the sun, get a walk in or let the kid burn off some energy while keeping a safe distance from others. A map of Liberty Station’s parks can be found

Restaurant Takeout and Delivery

Supporting local restaurants and their staff is essential during this time. While dining in has been paused, many of Liberty Station’s restaurants will be offering takeout, as well as delivery options. Guests can continue supporting local restaurants and eating their favorite foods while staying safe at home or enjoying a picnic in Liberty Station’s parks.

Outdoor Fitness Classes

Another great way to support local businesses is through fitness classes. Liberty Station’s Club Pilates, SparkCycle and Yoga Six will offer outdoor, socially distanced fitness classes while indoor classes are paused.

Salute the Season Art Walk

To help visitors get in the holiday spirit, Liberty Station is temporarily home to 12 outdoor art installations inspired by the “Twelve Days of Christmas” carol. Guests are encouraged to take themselves on a self-guided tour and snap a photo with their favorite piece to post on social media with #SaluteTheSeason to be entered into a raffle to win a Zoom chat with Santa. This installation is free and will be up until Sunday, Jan. 10.

Menorah Lighting

To continue the holiday spirit, Liberty Station, in partnership with The Chabads of Downtown San Diego and Pacific Beach, is hosting an outdoor, public menorah lighting to commemorate the first night of Hanukkah on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 5 PM. This menorah lighting will also feature a Cyr Wheel Acrobat and a Fire Dancer Show.
