Said scene comes from Italian film Il Postino (The Postman). Come watch the full movie at the last screening of this summer’s Little Italy Film Festival Saturday, August 26th.
Sit down under the stars of Amici Park Ampitheater and follow the story of a poor postman who falls in love with a beautiful Beatrice. Befriending famous poet Pablo Neruda and learning to love poetry himself, the postman turns to Neruda for help expressing his feelings.
The screening is open to the public and a $5 donation fee is requested at the door. No outside alcoholic beverages or animals permitted.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the film starts at 8:00 p.m.
The film will be screened in Italian with English subtitles.
